Laurie is a Registered Sanitarian and has worked as a public health inspector. She is also a licensed massage therapist and continues to pursue studies in other fields, including stress management and more. An alum of Grand Valley State University, Laurie is a charter member and active volunteer with the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine (AIHM) and is also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She has practiced Transcendental Meditation (TM) for the past 20 years.

Kelly Peterson, ND, is Practice Owner and Director at Grand Rapids Natural Health and co-founder of the local health and wellness event, InspiredLife Grand Rapids. Kelly is passionate about creating access to Naturopathic and Functional Medicine for the greater Michigan community. She is a member and past president of the Michigan Association of Naturopathic Physicians (MANP) and an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).

Laurie DeDecker is a registered nurse, a certified energy therapy practitioner and trainer, a certified ecotherapy practitioner, healthcare contractor, public speaker, researcher, grant writer and medical writer/editor. She works to support people as they move through major life transitions and traumas using a variety of approaches. Her process allows her clients to move back in to a place of better balance and improved wellbeing while harnessing the body’s ability to self-heal. She is currently developing the WoodsEdge Healing Retreat Center on 76 acres near Hastings, Michigan. Her private practice involves support for adults, children, communities and animals.
Barbara Pickut, MD, MPH

Dr. Pickut is the medical director of the Parkinson's and Movement Disorders program at Mercy Health Hauenstein Neurosciences. She also is an Associate Professor in the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Prior to joining Mercy Health, Dr. Pickut was a neurologist in Antwerp, Belgium for more than twenty years and is also currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Antwerp focusing on Neuromodulation in Parkinson's disease. Dr. Pickut has been involved in yoga practice as a therapeutic methodology since the late 1970's and is trained in mindfulness and has been teaching it to others since 2006. Her current research involves mindfulness training among individuals with Parkinson's Disease.

Betsy Willey

Elizabeth (Betsy) Willey is a certified Healing Touch practitioner and a Reiki Master. Developed by the nursing profession, Healing Touch has many applications for health and healing. Betsy studied neurological energy work with Carol Desantos, psychotherapist and founder of NSEW. Betsy also received a certificate in Spiritual Direction from the Dominican Center in Grand Rapids and completed a two year program in Interfaith Spiritual Guidance. She is a retired high school teacher and author of Footprints of the Soul, A Creative Guide for Spiritual Journey Groups and Individuals.
