Mood Boosting Essential Oils Make & Take Class

About:

Maintaining health in the darker days of winter begins with keeping ourselves happy and joyful! During this class, participants learned about mood boosting and stress relieving essential oils, as well as made each of the following: 

  • 10ml Aromatherapy Roll-on
  • 4oz Room Spritzer
  • 1 Package of Bath Salts

The fee for the class included ALL of the materials necessary to make the items, which were great for self-care or to give as a holiday gift. 

Participation Fee:

UHS Members: $15 per person*
Non-Members: $20 per person

Class Leader: 

Mary Mitus, RN, MSN, CCAP, Aromatherapy Practitioner and Health Coach, Health Everlasting

Mary is an advanced practice nurse, having earned her master's degree from Grand Valley State University.  Mary spent the first ten years of her career in hospital and home care administration. Since then she has focused on holistic health, esoteric teachings, energy-based therapies and aromatherapy.  She is an R.N., Certified Clinical Aromatherapy Practitioner, Reiki Master, Flower Essence Practitioner, and Health Coach.   

Mary’s business, Health Everlasting, was born out of Mary’s passion for nature and her conviction that our natural state of being is healthy and joyful.  Nicknamed “Nature Girl” Mary loves flower gardening and working with essential oils and essences. In 2002, she completed the RJ Buckle Clinical Aromatherapy for Health Professionals program and became certified.  

Mary is a member of the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy and the Flower Essence Society.
